After a three-sport varsity career at Hastings High School, Keith went on to play football at Western New England College in Springfield, Massachusetts, graduating in 1989. He enjoyed a successful career at Wide Receiver, becoming the schools´ All-Time leading receiver, setting 13 school records, and having his number 21 retired, at the time only the second athlete, and first football player so honored by the College. Keith was inducted into the inaugural class of the Downes Athletic Hall of Fame in 1999. Keith then went to work on Wall Street, and after a thirteen year career trading NASDAQ stocks, he switched careers to pursue a lifelong passion to teach and coach. While working on Wall Street, Keith was active in the community helping several Hastings High School Athletes gain athletic scholarships and/or financial aid while finding the college or university that was right for them. He was mentioned in an article in The Journal News titled "Highlighting Their Strengths" on August 26, 2006. Having played college football, Keith has contacts with coaches that he played with, or was coached by, at colleges such as Syracuse University, University of Southern California, Boston College, University of Maine, University of Massachusetts-Amherst, Westfield State College, Susquehanna University, University of New Hampshire, Marshall University and of course, his alma-mater, Western New England College. Using this vast network of college coaches and recruiters, Keith has a unique insight into what college coaches are looking for from Section 1 athletes. Having felt there was a need for a website that would help expose more Section 1 athletes to the college recruiting process, he decided to launch a fan-based website for Section 1 football players that would also incorporate exposing those student-athletes to coaches of every level of college football, and Section1Recruiting.Com was born! Keith is currently teaching Economics/Government and AP Microeconomics at All Hallows High School, a Catholic High School in the Bronx, NY. He also coaches football, basketball and track at New Rochelle High School. Keith still resides in his hometown of Hastings-on-Hudson, NY.

Matt joined Section1Recruiting.com in the summer of 2008, following in the footsteps of John Malone. He helps publish Section1Recruiting, Inc. the Magazine, and writes the “This Week In Section 1” section of the Web site during the season. Matt compiles all-star teams, player rankings, and team rankings before and after the season, and helps update the “Where Are They Headed?” section of the site for players’ college plans. A resident of Yorktown Heights, Matt is a 2006 graduate of Kennedy Catholic High School in Somers, where he played football, basketball, and lacrosse. Matt graduated from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, where he majored in journalism and sports communications. He was a student assistant for the Marist College football team and now coaches at Kennedy Catholic, while also working as a freelance writer.
