  TOP 10 THURSDAY

New Rochelle (11-0)
@
North Tonawanda (12-0)
Last week´s scare from Saratoga Springs will end up serving the Huguenots well, having seen that they are not invincible and must be bring their "A" game each week at this point. This week´s match-up against fellow unbeaten North Tonawanda pits two run-oriented teams against each other, but the Huguenots have a big advantage in experience. When New Rochelle´s defense is playing at its best, there aren´t many teams that can beat it. With some renewed focus and confidence, New Rochelle takes home the AA title.

Pick: New Rochelle

Nanuet (11-0)
@
Hornell (12-0)
Hornell has a similar pedigree to Schalmont, which Nanuet disposed of last week; like Schalmont´s prolific and fleet-footed quarterback Vincent Gallo, Hornell has a record-setting rusher in running back Austin Dwyer. Football is not played by crunching numbers, however, as Gallo found out last week when he plowed into a smothering Nanuet defense time and again. Unless Hornell can keep the Golden Knights honest with the pass, Nanuet will clog the running lanes and take away what Hornell does best. The defense will lead the way in Nanuet earning its first state championship.

Pick: Nanuet

Bronxville (11-0)
@
Jamestown Southwestern (12-0)
Bronxville may have finally met its match after bulldozing teams all season. The Broncos just eeked by Hoosick Falls last week, but will need a better effort to take down the defending state champions. Jamestown Southwestern is riding a 28-game winning streak and features a bevy of big bodies and playmakers, rivaling the talent and size of the Broncos. Bronxville won´t go down without a fight, but in the end Southwestern will have too much for the Broncos to contain.

Pick: Jamestown Southwestern
